MTG Card Keeper

Privacy

MTG Card Keeper is a browser app for tracking a Magic: The Gathering collection. It runs in your browser. We do not operate a server that stores your Google account details or your collection.

Google name, email, and profile

If you sign in with Google, we use your name, email, and account id to show your connected account in the user interface, and to keep Drive sync attached to that account on this device.

That profile information stays in your browser. We do not send it to our servers. We do not send it to anyone other than Google to support the inegrated sign-in.

A short-lived Google sign-in token is also kept in your browser so the app can sync without asking you every time.

Google Drive (optional)

If you connect Google Drive, the app stores your collection, decks, and the small sync records it needs in your Google Drive’s Application Data folder for this app. That folder is not shown in the normal Drive file list. The app cannot see your other Drive files.

We do not receive a copy of that Drive data. It is sent from your browser to Google.

On this device

The app also saves your collection in this browser, including if you never sign in.

Sign out of Google in the app removes Google sign-in details from this browser. Delete all data in Manage Data removes local collection data and, if you are connected, this app’s Google Drive app data. You can also disconnect the app under your Google Account’s third-party access settings.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not use user data for advertising. We use Google user data only to provide sign-in and optional Drive sync in this app.
